Because he left the Hawks in a mess. This technically is 3 straight losing seasons and I find it pretty stupid that he wouldn't be in his contract year |

Skillz- 2001 - 40-42 2002 - 50-32 2003 - 27-55 2004 - 37-45 2005 - 55-27 2006 - 51-31 2007 - 29-53 2008 - 42-40 2009 - 46-36 2010 - 30-52 - 1 2011 - 34-48 - 2 2012 - currently 12-44 3 If he's not his contract year.. I'm going to do the SAME thing he's going to be getting away with. Make a shitty team, quit for a season, and come back to avoid going into the contract year. |

I'll probably be like 5 games or so out of 40 wins, if I trade for proven talent I shouldn't have much of a problem reaching 40. I have a huge trading chip in Ty Walker as well as some other young guys and picks.

I was gone for 2 bbs seasons. Though my team was in a shitty position long-term, we we still hit 40 so it wasn't like i left with a 20 win team. I have had the Hawks back for 2 seasons and we have not reached 40, so i have one more year before my contract year. Obviously i'm hoping to compete next year without my pick.
Considering where we were, i'm extremely happy about our team and having Durant.
