1. What is your teams biggest weakness?
Our biggest weakness would have to be we lack a true number one scoring option, that was the problem all season long. I had to keep flipping Rice and Kidd in and out of the 1 and 2, while trying others there nothing seemed to work. But we recently addressed that with trading for a key scorer in Jamal Mashburn, so hopefully he can become that elite player. Since that trade, I think we are pretty weak at the 4 now.
2. What BBS team will win the title this year?
Sixers I believe have the best shot from the looks of it right now. The defending champs, Kings, are down to the sonics in their series, while the sixers seem to be rolling in the east on the back of Shaq. It is hard to say who can really stop them this time around.
3. Which BBS player would you want to build your team around?
I think I would have to go with Shaquille O'Neal. Even though he is in his late 20s, a big man like that is hard to find. He dominates in every way possible and will dominate for at least 5 more seasons. You can easily acquire some nice pieces to put around him and from there you have a championship caliber team, that everyone will fear in a seven game series. He is the man everyone wants to have on their team. 30 points 12 boards, 4 assists 3.5 blocks, and 520 fg%, damn thats wonderful.
4. Who is the best player in the 2002 Draft and why?
Yao Ming is the best player in the draft. If I had the number one pick I would chose Yao. Guards are easier to get in FBB in general, while a dominate big men like Yao, is really hard to find. You draft Yao and you will be successful for many seasons, the others will fall in place, just like Shaq, but I think you need to get that dominate big men if you want to win a title.
5. Which future player are you most interested in seeing in BBS and why?
I think I am most interested in seeing how guys like Roy, Greg Oden, Durant, Mayo, a few others turn out. We really did not see them blossom in the old BBS into really big superstars. I mean they were big time players and a couple won some rings, but I would of liked to see how they did at the end of their career, and in this BBS we should seem them till they retire, which will be interesting.
6. Which GMs is the easiest and most difficult to talk trade with?
For me, talking trade with GMs is not that hard most of the time. I think trading with Pig, Dave, Aaron, maybe one or two more are the easiest to talk trade with. We seem to do a lot of deals together and their really is no teeth pulling when you want something done for the most part. The most difficult to talk trade with probably would be like Nova, Aaron R, maybe Lumley because he never has any info about what players stats and ratings are etc. But for the most part I do not find that much difficulty in trading with guys.
7. What is the worst part of BBS?
There is no bad part about BBS IMO. I think this is one of the best leagues around, and everything is good. I was not too sure about the addition of all these NBN GMs, but they seem for the most part, like a good bunch of GMs, and things seemed to turn out well. Maybe I do not like a couple GMs for shit they say but overall it is a great league.
8. Which GM doesn't pull his weight?
Vernon and Skillz seem to be slacking as of late. Not so much Skillz, I see him post now more than before and seems to be getting better. But I do not know whats going on with vernon. He has not done much lately on the boards and seems to be letting his team coast. Kind of annoying.
9. If you could change 1 rule in BBS what would it be?
I would say change the RC amount to 5, I loved the last BBS ratings. The league was fun and it probably was annoying for spence having to see all of these rcs being traded but it was fun and it did provide for a lot of activity.
10. What is your favorite league outside of BBS and why?
My favorite league outside of BBS would be UOSL2. It is a great league, run by Ducky, with a good amount of GMs in there that know what they are doing. I have fun with it and it is cool to have a different look at players and see how they turn out and perform.
