Roy has 4.4 speed. I love Keyshawn but he wasn't close to that.
And I feel kind of bad for Calvin Johnson. Big time player but he's surrounded by a mess.

I've never read or heard anything bad about Roy's attitude or work ethic. May be something I have'nt heard but he's not the prima donna like TO,Ocho Cinco etc.I dont think. Phillips is a different matter now. Lotta talk around here he's a big part of the problem not the solution. I think he's one of those guys that's a great coordinator as a head coach. The Roy Williams that whined about not getting the ball enough a few weeks ago? This offense is just combustable. People will be unhappy. Such an overpayment for a good, not elite WR. |

There's a big difference when your team is 0-5 and you're one of the few good players on the team as opposed to winning games on a good team and TO still complains. Show me a competitor that does'nt bitch when they're losing and it looks hopeless. TO will be happy for now. It will free up space for him. In 2 years will he be? Who knows, but in 2 years he probably wont be happy anyway given his history so even more reason why this is a great deal. Then you can just trade/cut his 36 yr old ass if he isnt good anymore or is pouting. He wont be able to hold Dallas hostage over it like he did Philly and SF. |

Plus he's got Brad fucking Johnson throwing to him who cant throw anymore.
All the other team has to do is crowd the line of srimmage for 10 yards since that's about as far as he can throw at this point.

Roy Williams completely sucked against the Eagles that is probably the biggest highlight of Detroit's season getting so much value for an overvalued WR... besides the firing of Millen of course. |

and more than a month's worth of practice is enough to learn routes... especially since WR routes are generally the same with each team.
The thing that takes the most time is timing and that's something that you can't teach.
No excuse for Roy Williams in that Week 17 game, he played like garbage.
