sent out a ton of PMs to a lot of GMs and everyone said they would do a deal if nothing else happened for me and when I sent PMs back no one responded. I texted Spence and let him know today was the final day of the month and I've been at work for over 12 hours today and last night I went to bed early because I knew I had a big day at work. I thought I had a trade done but it didn't work and I had no idea it didn't work until less than 30 min left to my deadline.
I had to leave work and go on my cell phone internet to type PMs back and forth and it takes a minute to load so I got past deadline even though I texted Spence to let him know I'd be posting something that worked.
This completely kills my franchise and I'm done I have no interest in rebuilding or trading Lebron. I loved my team and my interest in BBS was at an all time high with my team but this completely ruins everything. I don't know who the new GMs are and to be honest there is about 5 teams in the league who I have no idea who the GMs are and I have no idea who was even drafted or good in the past few draft classes and I have no interest in those guys.
I honestly would kill Martinez if I met him in person and I hope he is at the winter meetings this year because I will kick the shit out of him if I see him, no jokes, no being tough online just simply the truth. He annoys the shit out of me.
I wasn't asking for the rules to be bent for me but I had a few things in the works and I had no time to get them done and I was in the process of posting something but couldn't. I was under a different impression of what Spence was allowing me to do through our text messages and when I saw what he did on the boards I felt it was another story.
None of my friends are in BBS anymore. No Reilly, No Hernando, No Bender. I admit I miss them. The NC guys have gotten their college buddies into the league and thats what I used to have but no longer do.
So all in all I'm going to retire from BBS. I think I got fucked pretty bad with this ruling and it just puts my franchise in a bad place so let a new GM come in with no penalty and resign Lebron and keep a winner in Dallas.

Also thats really fucked up that Manaic just sent me a text saying that he said yes to my trade that I told Spence I offerws him and Spence texted him and Manaic responded yes but Spence never told me. So all in all I had a deal that worked that could have been posted.

I can speak to you as someone who's been there. I fucked up, lost out on the fourth pick, was faced with the reality that I couldn't re-sign guys, and lost Pau. Best thing that ever happened to me. I said fuck it, had fun and built the best team I could. Within a few seasons I made the finals and I didn't miss a beat because of the penalty. You'll say you don't have time to do this, but the truth is, it doesn't take any time. It takes balls. You talked a big fucking game your whole time here and all you do is whine, and now you bitch out on the league because of a fucking penatly? Fuck that. I have no respect for that at all.
Good riddance, you selfish fuck. You've only ever cared about yourself in this league and now when the whip comes down on you, you leave the league. You're constantly getting on guys. You were DESPERATE to fuck over Ducky when he was in the contract year. But wah wah, it's not fair now that you fucked up. What a reality.

I don't know you could've expected it to be easy to get under the HC after the way you tried to prevent a few other GM's from getting under in past experiences. I don't like see old GM's go, aespecially when most of these new guys are unproven commodities, and your a pretty decent guy, but if you want to go out like this, on something that is your fault, go ahead. pretty weak.

I guess BBS means nothing to him and when he gets penalized he quits because it is "unfair" to happen to him. bullshit dave, man the fuck up and fine a way to work this shit out, it can still be fun to build a winner here if you wanted to, but you dont want to. A lot of people's true colors showed and why do I want to be in a league where no one wants to have a beer with me. I have nothing to prove to the league and I disagree with the cap numbers I have disagreed with them for years its not fair that the cap is not in proportion to the hard cap. Then I was at work and had deals in place and I got fucked. My team that I worked so hard on building just crumbles...well I don't want to be in the league anymore its not fun. When Maniac told me he said yes to my deal and Spence never told me that pisses me off.
So no I won't be back I'm done. I'm riding into the sunset and retiring from sims all together.

Bottom line, you fucked up. You had multiple deals that would've gotten yo under, and you were trying to get the best possible deal. You couldve easily traded Young for cap, but instead you tried to lose no talent at all. Well this is all your fault.
