I am also speaking from experience, because it was a bitch to get rid of Pierce when he was younger and better, and it was a bitch to get rid of Gilbert who was a 20+ million expiring as well and significantly better than Baron.

Pierce, i think, is clearly retiring next year. Hell, i'd take him but i don't have contacts to match. He'd be a big help to a contending team.
