Right now the Cap is pretty low. 35. Should I limit the amount of years players can sign AK and Manu because the cap is low and the MAX will be low?
Should we limit MAX years to 5?
Should we keep the Cap at 35 until the 1st round picks become FAs? That was my initial thought. That at the end of 2003, Id raise the cap to 50 mill. This is so the resignings at the end of the year would offer based on the 50 mill cap.
I was thinking we'd go 50-85 as our soft and hard caps from 2004 till whenever this ends. I think that these totals are pretty low, but I also think it would strive for parity.
Thoughts?

Yeah I don't like jumping 15 mil in one year. Maybe increase it over the next 5 years.
1 mil the 1st year
2. mil the 2nd year
3 mil the 3rd year
4 mil the 4th year
5 mil the 5th year
That gets you up to 50 mil.

gradual increase would seem to work out better.
And you should limit the max years to 5.

it should stay the same (once the soft cap and hard caps are set) because the contracts never change in this league. They are recycled through 1st round picks to various types of contracts but the max bids are set for the remainder of the league. They are a system based on experience and wont ever get out of hand.

01 - 37.5
02 - 40
03 - 42.5
04 - 45
05 - 47.5
06 - 50
Hard Cap is 85 right now, and will be 85 for the entirety of the league.

I will not lower the MAX years. Never really made a ruling on that, but there wasnt enough sentiment for it to change the FBB way of doing things.
