The Flying Dutchman, Hermin Schonhoven has been making scouts go gaga for years. The very versatile Schonhoven has some of the best handling and passing ability for a man his size. Great touch around the basket as Schonhoven possess a deadly mid-range game that crippled many in U-18 ball this summer. Very solid rebounder as what he lacks in size and strength he makes up in great fundamentals and almost perfect positioning around the rim.
Weaknesses-
Not very strong at all and is only average at jumping abilities. Perimiter defense is above par for other rookies coming out but gets lost and drilled against bigger SF's who like to bash at the rim. Can only play SF right now due to his really awful post-defense. Has some game behind the 3pt arc but will need to improve to be a very good player. Inside game is lacking but shows promise.
Schoonhoven is a very interesting prospect. He shows a lot of promise in the areas he struggles at now. While maybe not a star in the BBS if he works hard he can be a great all around player.
