In one of the most intriguing drafts in BBS history, a lot is at stake for a number of teams. Here is my mock:
1. Los Angeles Clippers--Jack Creamer PF 6'8'' 245 22 B- C- D B A- A
If I had the first pick, I'd have picked Creamer although the consensus was for Dunagan. Creamer possesses a unique ability to rebound the basketball, and is also already a solid post player and defender. Creamer looks to be a potential rebounding champion and an all-star for a number of years.
2. Minnesota Timberwolves--Dennis Dunagan PF 6'9'' 226 24 B+ C- D A- B+ B
The Wolves have the easiest decision in the draft, as they will clearly take who is left from Dunagan and Creamer. While Dunagan may not be an all-leaguer every season, he looks to be a very good player from day one who will likely make a lot of all-star teams. Reminds me of a poor-mans Dejaun Blair.
3. Indiana Pacers--Tony Galvan SF 6'9'' 262 22 B C+ C- C+ C A
Tough choice here, but I think Galvan has the highest remaining upside out of all of the remaining players. He is strong, weighing in at 262 pounds, and has a skill set that translates well to improvement. Out of the remaining players, Galvan looks like he has the best chance to be a star and not just a role player.
4. Toronto Raptors--Sven Andersson SF 6'9'' 220 21 C B- C A- B A
The Raptors already have a number of studs, so what a way to add to them by adding the consummate role player in Andersson (what the fuck, he has 2 s's in his name). Anderson will be an awesome complement to DJ's team and would likely develop into a C+ B C A+ B+ C type player.
5. Utah Jazz--Hermin Schonhoven SF 6'11'' 210 22 C B B C+ B- A
The Jazz are pretty much set at every position, so they take the best player available. Schonoven is that guy, who can be a 6th man for them and add to their already devastating core.
6. SanAntonio Spurs-- Toby Hart SF 6'5'' 226 23 C+ B B- B C A
The Spurs have 2 stud bigs and a nice pg, so it's likely they pick the best remaining 2 or 3. Hart is a skilled swingman who does not seem to have any weaknesses. While he doesn't project as a future stud, he's definitely capable of putting up 18/5/5 in the future.
7.Orlando Magic - Kokomo Montego PG 6'0'' 176 20 C C+ B+ B- C- A
Not a very hard pick for the Magic here. They lack a real point guard and the best one in the draft falls right into their lap here. Almost an inevitable pick seeing as every team besides the Pacers doesn't need a point guard
8. Atlanta Hawks- Manchu Chau C 7'3'' 245 20 B C C B C+ B
The Hawks posses to future studs in Avery bradley and Donatas Motiejunas so it is unlikely they draft a PG/SF. Chau is the best remaining player, and the best center in the draft. At 7'3, he possesses great size and has a solid game to build off of. Expect a lifetime starter who probably won't make any all-star games.
9.Indiana Pacers-- Guzman Angel DeJesus IV C 7'6'' 368 22 C D D B B B
While Guzman looks pretty mediocre, his size is something that has really yet to be seen in the league. DeJesus has great strength and will be an interesting player to follow throughout his career.
10. Milwaukee Bucks-Muzaffer Isa SF 6'9'' 225 21 C+ B C+ C C+ B
Even though they have Ross, Isa should have the ability to play the 2. He can do everything on the floor and has a chance to be a player.
11. Toronto Raptors--David Henson SG 6'4'' 233 22 C+ A- C- C C- A
Raptors go for best player available now. Henson is a super scorer with some nice upside. Plus, he should fit Toronto's outside scheme.
12. Washington Wizards--John Manning PG 5'11'' 205 23 C B- B+ C C A
Once can be said for sure: whoever Jah picks here will be a stud. Jah has perfected the art of the mid-late round pick with a number of steals and should have a chance to do so here with a very solid point guard.
13. Sacramento Kings--Mark Capuano PG 6'0'' 210 24 C B- B C+ C- A
The Kings need young guards, and they get the best young guard here in Capuano. Capuano is a very balanced player who should be a solid starter for the Kings in the future.
14. Atlanta Hawks--Edward Laplante PF 6'6'' 211 23 C+ D+ C C+ B A
The Hawks could do anything with this pick. Here, they opt for the undersized rebounding machine in Laplante.
15. Milwaukee Bucks--Max Catalano C 7'0'' 277 22 C+ D- F+ B B+ C
A solid player with no potential, Catalano would be a decent pick for Milwaukee when the draft starts to get tough to sort out.
