Glen Rice Jr. SG 6'4" 185 lbs 22 years old College: Georgia Tech Expected Ratings: C A B- C+ C- B Strengths: Arguably the best shooter to enter the BBS Draft in the last 5 years... Good length, long arms contribute to alot of steals... very polished mid-range game, uses his runner in the lane very effectively... Very mature, 4 year starter at Georgia Tech, team captain his last 3 years... Comfortable with being the go-to guy;was a 25 PPG scoring in his senior season, which included many clutch shots... Many scouts have been wowed with how good his handles are in traffic, almost has if the game is slowed down for him... High Basketball IQ. Weakness: Might struggle as a primary ball-handler for a team at the NBA level; was given fits by longer defenders. Not much experience with running plays as a PG, and turnovers might be an issue too... fearless style of play is admirable, but some scouts question how much punishment his wiry frame can absorb in the lane and the paint... might need to bulk up... upside is questionable Other Notes: Won an ESPY for best play with his 70-foot desperation heave at the buzzer to beat UNC in the ACC Tournament Semifinals. Projection:Mid-to-Late Lottery pick.
