Tahir Carrington 6'5" 20 210 LB's SG Ball State Potential Ratings: C+ B C B- C- A Overview: Despite being from the Mid-American Conference, this guy can ball. Not since the days of Bonzi Wells have the Cardinals seen a player this good. However, this isn't really a fair comparison. Scouts have been very impressed with this guys all-round talent and think with some work can become a very good player in the BBS. He has developed very quickly despite only picking up a basketball halfway through his freshmen year in High School. Strengths: The so called "lost art" of the mid range jump shot was never lost on this guy. If this guy sees any daylight expect him to pull up and knock down the J. T.C. is also a very physical player on both sides of the ball. He also has a great eye for interrupting ball handlers and getting into the passing lanes leading to him being in the top 10 in steals for the MAC. Carrington still has a lot to learn in the BBS, but scouts believe he has plenty of upside. Weaknesses: Absolutely needs to work on his game from beyond the NBA 3 pt Range. Carrington struggled from beyond the college arc, shooting just a 31% clip. He also needs to translate his strength into better slashing/cutting to the rim. Carrington also needs to work on his first step as well as his ball handling skills. Prediction: Because of his already developed mid range game, physical style of play, and upside he should be a mid lotto pick.

Good job. I like this a lot. Reminds me of a guy I had in the first BBS. Spence brought him in with very similar ratings said he had like an 82 mid range and a 27 long range, or something like that. Should be a unique but very capable player.
