Potential Rookie Ratings C+ B- C- B- B- B
Overview: With the phenom Duck Young Bak taking all the spotlight in Korean Basketball, Choi has not garnished as much attention as he should have. He is a tall and athletic player who has a lot of positive aspects on both sides of the basketball.
Strengths: Along the lines of many recent foreign players, Choi has solid all round shooting. However, unlike his predecessors such as Yi etc, he can play big and hits the glass fairly well and plays solid post defense. He is a versatile player and has been known to play the 3,4, and 5.
Weaknesses: A lot of little things need to be tweaked in his game in order for him to become a quality starter. Strength/ Blocking are a little below average. Ball Handling and Passing out of the post could be improved.
Notes: Due to his aforementioned lack of attention there are still some mysteries involved in his game. May be a high risk/ high reward prospect. RC work could make him a viable player.
