sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3760914The Phoenix Suns have completed a deal with the Charlotte Bobcats to acquire high-scoring swingman Jason Richardson, according to NBA front-office sources. The multiplayer deal will require the Suns to part with forward Boris Diaw and defensive ace Raja Bell, two mainstays from the team that averaged 58 wins over the last four seasons under former Suns coach Mike D'Antoni. The Suns will also receive a future second-round pick from the Bobcats and forward Jared Dudley while sending Sean Singletary to the Bobcats.

nice for Pho. Diaw was never that good and Bell is just a role player.

Suns have no idea what they want to do. Should've gone in-house and seen if Barbosa could give them the extra offensive energy. His minutes are down and I don't really get why. JRich is a very good scorer and is probably gonna get hyped a big fit, which I don't really think he is. Not his biggest fan, but he's good. Losing Bell and Diaw matters. Diaw has had a pretty undefined role for awhile, but he's been on the court in most of the important Suns games I can remember, and Bell is awesome at what he does.

Brian Kenny is by far the most irritating personality on ESPN. This guy just wishes he was an analyst and not an anchor. He gets into fights with the people he interviews and just pissed off McShay. I hate this guy. He used to be sick like 5 years ago on Baseball Tonight but wow, such an annoying guy.

Diaw's game never meshed well with Amare and he got fat this year.
I'm interested how J-Rich does in Phoenix. He should do well, Raja and Diaw are on the downsides of their careers. Richardson can at least come in and score 20ppg.

I really like JRich. Hes a very good offensive player, and he really wants to win. Just a good guy. His game isnt perfect though. His defense is hit and miss and his FT shooting can be scary. I think he will fit in nice in PHX mostly because Nash will make him better.

Strange for both.
Bobcats give up their best scorer, but Diaw could really excel on that team and Bell brings the grittiness that they lack. The Suns get another big name who will be risk/reward

I think Richardson will thrive off of Nash similar the way Q-Rich did. Seems like the type of move for Phoenix that would indicate that they are going back to their old style which I know isn't happening, but with Nash penetrating and defenses having to play honest by guarding Shaq and Amare in the post, J-Rich should get his fair share of open looks.

Suns are really talented. I like this move for them. Diaw has gone downhill the last couple years, and although Raja is nice, I'd much rather have Jrich..

nice move for the suns, jrich is better than both players and should bring offense to compliment nash and amare.

While Diaw may not be a superstar, he bring many intangibles to the game. He can play basically any position on the floor. He has great ball handling skills for a big man and can also pass better than most guards. While his offensive game is mediocre, but that's because he tends to look for others more than looking for his own shot.
Raja Bell is one of the best defenders in the league, his production is down from last season but he's that guy you put on the other teams best defender.
I think the Suns biggest problem recently besides the defense, becasuse defense has always been their problem, is their lack of offensive production. With J Rich they lose on the defensive side of the ball, but they get a legit 20-25ppg guy. With Nash, he's going to get a lot of easy buckets via the alley-hoop. J-Rich also has 3pt range so he can stretch the defense.
Haberman, Barbosa missed most of pre-season and a good chunk of the season because of injuries and his mother's death. He's not getting minutes because he hasn't been in shape, and the time he has gotten he's been mediocre. He'll get his time when he's back into game shape.
