O'Callaghan will be the first Irish player in the BBS and for good measure. Kid is a gym rat. Run 4 miles, lift 4 hours, shoot 400 jump shots. Routine is his middle name and it has paid off. Think the work ethic of Joe Alexander. His whole life O'Callaghan was told that he wasn't good enough, wasn't strong enough, wasn't fast enough. Eamon was a mediocre soccer and gaelic football player but always dreamed of fame. At 14 he took up the game of basketball, where he could use his gifted frame and athleticism to his advantage. His goal in life is to prove everyone who doubted him wrong and make a name for himself. Nothing will stop him in his pursuit of glory.
Strengths.
Ireland didn't boast too much competition when Eamon was growing up. For several years most of his game revolved around going to the court and just shooting. It was actually a full year of just shooting in fact. Hours at a time Eamon would shoot endlessly. So when a European scout first found him it wasn't a surprise when he said "This kid has the potential to be a better shooter then Drazen Petrovic." Known as a gifted runner O'Callaghan has been noted by European scout Antonio Del Toro as "The most fit player he has seen in 20 years. He is an absolute machine in the gym and on a track." The equivalent of 40 minutes on on O'Callaghan's body is the equivalent of 25-30 on the most fit players in BBS. Less prone to injury then other BBS players. Faster then most small forwards, and is known to beat them to a punch. Lateral quickness is very good, should be a very nice perimeter defender with time. Very good handles. Solid athleticism.
Weakness.
Eamon hit the gym to sculpt his body and to build stamina, not to build muscle and it shows. Inside game lacks, not ever going to be a post up threat due to his lack of muscle and his love for hanging around the permitter. Although not there yet, scouts do believe that Eamon's quickness and handling ability will enable to him to very effectively use the drive to his advantage if he chooses so. Very confident with his shooting, maybe too much so at times. Lack of team play makes him a liability as far as chemistry is concerned, has been only played high quality team ball for two years now.
What are we getting with O'Callaghan-
Strong work ethic and as deadly as a shooter as they come. Will most likely end up as with Rodney Stuckey type ratings as worst. If he can develop a drive to the hoop while hitting the gym he might be a future all-star. Will always be thrown around by bigger small forwards who like to post up though.
.......A rivalry grew though when O'Callaghan was playing in Europe. A rivalry with much hatred between him and another player from a country where he will be the first player of his nation to play in the BBS.

Kristjan Hjartarsson has never gotten it right. Anti-social in school all he wanted to do was to be loved. If you think O'Callaghan had a compelling and sad story Hjartarsson has one that makes you sick to your stomach. At 11 he was burning ants with magnifying glasses, at 12 looting convenient stores. His life would change forever at age 13 though when fighting a classmate, the classmate fell into a frozen river and drowned. Hjartarson tried to save his life but failed. The judge noticed the attempt and moved murder down to a reduced manslaughter sentence. With no friends and no life aspirations Hjartarson went to prison, lifeless. However, in a rare twist of events Hjartarsson's cell mate was none other then Icelandic Basketball Guru Magnus Van Magnussson who instantly saw a star when he saw him. Over the next 5 years, every day Kristjan would work on his game and play blacktop. When Kristjan got out he was even more angry at the world and headed off to Greece to play for a team that Magnussson set up for him.
A relative unknown in the BBS. Hjartarsson's biggest accomplishment was being the biggest hit on YouTube for the month of February last year when Jerry James Keenan knocked him out cold during the playoffs.
However Hjartarsson's biggest rival was Eamon O'Callaghan. O' Callaghan would trounce him on a daily basis and Hjartarsson's would become a ticking time bomb. Upon hearing O'Callaghan declaring for the 2016 BBS draft, Hjartarsson followed making a promise that when all is said in done he will be a better player then O'Callaghan.
Strengths
Offensive juggernaut. Can do a little bit of everything well. The constant emotion and rage makes him attack the basket with force. Decent shooter. O'Callaghan is a more developed player then Hjartarsson, but the latter has more room to grow. "If this guy can get his head straight he has the potential to be a powerful force on the offensive end. " Very athletic and has a huge wingspan. Jumps out of the roof
Weaknesses.
Believes that there isn't such a thing as defensive statistics. Not a great defender but has room to improve. His sole drive isn't to win, but to be greater then one other person. Which kind of acts double edged sword. He will give 100 percent effort every night but will never take the position of a role player. Needs the ball in his hands to be effective. Stronger then O'Callaghan but weaker then modern BBS players. Prone to trouble. Lack of lateral quickness +frustration and rage every day = lots of fouls. Has to stay out of foul trouble to be effective as well.
Considered a punk and prone to trouble Hjartarsson has too many physical gifts not to be picked lotto.
