I read yesterday Mets quietly want Pat the Bat. I'd take it. At least one of the Dunn/Abreu/Giambi/Burrell group is gonna have a huge, huge year and everyone will talk about why they got no attention in FA while Tex and Manny blahb lah blah blah seriously, the rays are gonna be so nasty if they lock one of these guys up. 4 really good players, i cant believe how little goes on with them just because manny and tex havent signed yet. so dumb. |

Dunn/Burrell. sorry, i didnt see it giambi met with the rays in vegas, but i think they should go hard after the other three. they want the of anyway. but maybe the want to sign giambi because hes cheaper and for fewer years. i have no clue where abreu will sign if he doesn't go to the mets, and his contract is gonna be really interesting to see. i think the blue jays and orioles should also get into this but the jays are being stingy and the orioles i bet will if tex signs elsewhere. have you read anything about dunn? i randomly decided he's gonna sign with the nats and havent paid him any attention since |

Just little quotes here and there that make me think the Mets will get one of these guys. Dunn is a good fit because he could slide to first next year. Abreu is a good fit because he could hit 2. Burrell is a good fit because he is RH. I'd take any of them. My main man Ibanez put the market around 30 million which is sick. |
