it should be easier because your playing more eastern conference (supposedly good) teams you are killing me. do you really think the east is only supposedly better than the west? He made the argument that he couldn't tank because the West was so horrible. But in reality don't you think it'd be easier to tank in the East when you're playing all these great teams every week? Either his team is pretty good (with a -7 point differential and a 1-3 record against West teams since the ASG) or he's winning some games against decent Eastern conference teams. And yeah, the East is better than the West, we've been over it before.

I don't think you can put down the depth of good teams in the conference just because Devin isn't doing a good job tanking. He has a lot of talent on his team. Yi and Dex are both good option scorers. Davidson looks like one of the best ballhandles in the league. Ibaka is a beast on defense. Millsap averages a double-double for him. It's not like he has a good team, but 21-31 makes sense for that roster. This sim he beat the Raps, Kings and Bulls, three other tanking teams. The only other teams he's beaten since the ASB are the Celts and Hornets. So he beats teams that suck in general. That's what teams that don't do a great job tanking do. He has two wins over both the Knicks and Nets. That makes no sense, sure, but it doesn't mean anything about the East as a conference. If the tanking teams of the West were in the East, their records would be worse, I bet. Devin's team is better than those teams by a lot--that's why he can't tank.

Started the sim 4-0 and I was feeling incredible (including a blowout of the Heat) then lost 3 straight to ATL, INDI, and MIL. Tough. Then finished someone off, I forget who. I'll take it. We're not an incredible team but we're going to do damage in the playoffs if I make it because KD is just so good.

Jazz have the hornets pick to, fucking lucky. hahaha well to be honest with you I specifically eyed this year as one that might be beneficial to me when I made the trade for the pick. Sydney was a potentially a free agent the offseason before this one and Pierce would have either been old or retired. The mistake causing the HC penalty really made it for me, though. I definitely lucked out in that category.

Really happy I had this kind of sim after just coming back from a funeral. More to come in a minute. I like Andrew and everything but there is always an excuse with him. My favorites are the I'm studying for a test/ or cleaning out his ass. He must have 2-3 tests per week and his ass must be sparkling clean!!

Ohhhhh, sick. I went 4-0 including a beatdown of the Heat, but then I lost Iggy for the rest of the sim. Considering, we played the Bucks damn well, and could probably have beaten Indi too. ATL lit us up, doubt Iggy would have stopped that. I really like this team. I'm hoping I can catch the 7 seed but I doubt it.

3-1 sim. Karron is a beast.
20/18 on the Bulls, 14/12 on the Clippers.
Stephen Curry's shooting percentage is actually going up.

Game 1: 1-0 109-96 win over the Wiz. Knight had 27/13 Game 2: 2-0 104-95 win over the Pistons. Brand with 22/10 Game 3: 3-0 107-93 win over the Bulls. A lot of really good performances Game 4: 4-0 120-111 win over the Bucks. Knight had 24/12 Game 5: 4-1 94-91 loss to the Lakers involving Knight getting injured. Tyler had 17 rebounds and 7 assists in just 30 minutes. Weird. Game 6: 5-1 105-86 win over the Mavs. Nice all round game. Game 7: 107-103 win away over the Clippers. Shocked I won this game with Knight being out but Lancaster seems like a suitable backup.

andrew has been on a mean streak lately.. first he makes fun of CJ for going to a funeral, then he tries to make himself not feel bad by saying he was at a funeral today, and now takes his anger out on blue, wtf?

It's not really predicting at all. It's not fortune telling when you look at when a guy's contract ends and look for a pick in that year. It's also not too hard to think that Pierce was going to retire. I wasn't implying that I predicted anyone would go over the HC, I'm just saying that is really what made the pick good.

Outside the the playoff teams, none of the teams are that good... all are probably in the same league talent-wise as Cleveland. I don't think his team sucks, but if the East was as amazing as everyone says it is his team would be alot worse, right?
