Strengths:
The best player to ever come out of New Zealand. The Kiwi Kid loves to drive to the basket at will and clown his opponents with his creativity with the ball in his hand.
Ballantyne is an offensive wizard who can score inside and out and often draws the double team. Many people have gone as far as comparing his raw offensive abilities to Kobe Bryant. He has the ability to be that good on the offensive end.
Ballantyne also gets his teammates involved and is an unselfish player, but loves to have the ball in his hands and run the offense.
Weaknesses:
Works too hard on offense and not nearly hard enough on defense. Ballantyne really needs to step up on the defensive end if he ever wants to be an all-star.
He also has no interest in going for rebounds or loose balls. Many attribute this to how highly regarded he is overseas and that he feels he doesn't need to get his hands dirty - this perception should change when he hits the big leagues.
