1) Ricardinho SF 6'7" 215 lbs. 20 A- D+ B C+ C A
Some International scouts compare Ricardinho to Dominique Wilkins and other say that his lack of outside shooting will absolutely kill him on the next level.
When it comes to driving to the hoop, this Brazilian is absolutely unstoppable - he has hops, he has incredible inside scoring ability and he is remarkably fast.
Ricardinho is the type of player who will thrive in an inside offense because of his solid post moves and his penchant for stealing the ball, which will lead to a ton of fast break opportunities.
Ricardinho is also very unselfish, but needs to work on his ball-handling - let's just say that he will never be a point guard.
2) Marcus Bigelow PF 6'10" 238 lbs. 21 B C- C C A- B
Bigelow is a fantastic post presence at LSU who has incredible instincts on the boards. He just has the will and intensity that will not allow him to give up on a rebound, reminding many of Dennis Rodman. However, unlike Rodman, Bigelow is an incredible inside scorer, but nowhere near the post defender.
He may not be your number one option, but he will be one of the most valuable team players that the league will see. His fire is unparalleled at the collegiate level and it's visible by his incredible 15.6 rpg.
3) Hunter Kampmann C 7'1" 250 lbs. 18 C+ A- D- C- B- A
Kampmann is an incredible shooter, who may be the best three point shooter in league history at the center position.
The German sensation has torn it up for Oklenburg, but is untested on the professional ranks outside of the country, which makes many scouts wonder if he's ready to make the professional transition - at the same time, scouts worry that he will sign with a Euroleague team and forego the league for a few years.
Kampmann doesn't miss free throws and he shoots an incredibly high three point percentage, but he's also not afraid to mix it up inside with some nice post moves.
Kampmann is absolutely huge for his age and could get bigger, but he's very sluggish and has a lot of trouble keeping the ball secure. Based on intrigue alone, Kampmann will likely go top-5 in any draft he is in, but it will likely not be the upcoming one.
4) Jorge Victoriano SG 6'6" 175 lbs. 19 B- C+ C C+ C- A
An absolutely incredible raw talent. Victoriano has shades of Manu Ginobili and is a slasher in every sense of the world.
Ginobili has personally taken the fellow Argentine under his wing to help him make the transition to the pro game and Victoriano has responded.
Victoriano played in the U-18 Olympic tournament at age 16 and tore it up against the world's finest. He will play against the world on Argentina's Olympic team next time around. Scouts don't worry about him signing to a Euroleague team because he's ready to test himself on the highest level.
5) Hakin Alexander PG 5'8" 150 lbs. 19 C B B+ C+ F A
Alexander is out to prove that height will not prevent him from being an all-star and with his combination of taking care of the ball and shooting prowess, he very well may prove everyone wrong.
Alexander has always been told that he would never make it and has taken it personally. Now he is a star freshman at Providence, averaging 14.5 ppg, 6.7 apg and 1.3 topg and is the model of efficiency after not being named a top-100 recruit.
Will he be another Tajuan Porter or Earl Boykins or will he be the best player of his stature in league history?
6) Simon Ben-Ephraim C 7'0" 245 lbs. 17 B C C- B- C+ A
The Hebrew Hammer is tearing up Israeli leagues and making a name for himself as the best player to ever emerge from Israel. However, at age 17, he has one major obstacle in his way - the mandatory Israeli Army conscription age of 18.
Strangely, Ben-Ephraim wants to declare for the draft while he is in the service and finish it out until he is 21. Which means that he could get drafted at age 19 and not play until he is 22 years of age.
When he does finish his service, scouts expect him to be tougher, but worry about his basketball abilities getting forgotten.
Right now, Ben-Ephraim is appealing for a shorter tour of duty.
