It wasn't even close really. I think this super bowl was the best Ive ever seen. It had not only multiple amazing plays but the momentum shifted so many times. Definately a rare great game.

It was a great 4th quarter, but best overall? The Steelers dominated the first 3 quarters. For my best superbowl ever it needs to be more than just 1 good quarter.

The Steelers "dominated" the first 3 quarters? Were we watching the same game, besides that incredible run back by Harrison for a TD, the Cardinals D was shutting down the Steelers offense and the Cardinals were marching in for a score. I have no idea what game you were watching.

The Steelers were obviously in control. With the exception of the run back, it wasn't an exciting game at all until the fourth quarter. It was extremely dull and not interesting until Arizona started to score.

- The holding in the endzone. It just simply wasn't holding. I've heard quite a few people say this exact same thing. Hartwig simply got trucked - that's not holding. It should've never happened and THAT CALL got the Cardinals back in the game. That was the biggest call of the entire game. There was two holds by the Steelers O-Line when the holding call was called. Anytime you tackle the defender to the ground like Hartwig clearly did, it's a hold. If Hartwig really got trucked, his hands should have not been around the nose tackle at all when he went down. And most of the time you grab a jersey and hold on to it like the left tackle did as the defensive end goes by, it's also a hold.

There were 3 of the most amazing plays in SB history.
Momentum changed big time like 4-5 times. The int return. The Fitzgerald TD. The safety. The last TD.
Unlike other SB's it wasn't boring for the first 3 quarters and the exciting at the end. One of my favorite SBs was the Niners 2nd win over the Bengals. The last drive made it a great SB, and Rice was awesome but it was pretty boring for 3 quarters.

I can't believe that people are saying this years super bowl was better than last years. That is amazing. The undefeated patriots were going for the best record ever in football and the giants beat them in an amazing game. How can you even compare the two? This years was not nearly as exciting as last years at all. Nobody gave the giants a chance last year, NOBODY, at least this year a few people chose the cardinals as surprise upset picks, no one had the giants winning.

I have no idea what game you were watching. Agreed. PIT's biggest lead was 13 points up until the final quarter, how is that dominant? For a defense that was suppose to be the best in the league, they could have easily been losing after 2 quarters if not for Harrison's INT return.

Its not quantitative so it doesn't matter. I'm just saying, IMO this and last years SB's, its not even close which was better.

The Giants won three games on the road, the Cardinals had two homes games. The Giants beat the 1 and 2 seed. I loved this years Cardinals and I'm not arguing that it wasn't sick, but the Giants beating the then 18-0 Patriots has apparently been forgotten for how incredible it was.

The end of the 2nd quarter wasn't exciting? The fact that the Cardinals were in the game in the first half wasn't exciting? Of course Harrison's play was exciting. Aside from that, no, the game wasn't very good until the fourth. I don't understand this argument at all Spence. The Cardinals "being in the game" against the Steelers wasn't half as exciting as the Giants being in the game against last year's Pats.
