1- DAL- Ricardinho SF 6'7'' 215 20 A- D+ B C+ C- A
Undoubtedly the No. 1 pick. Chris won't screw this one up. I won't be surprised though if this pick or player is moved for an elite big.
2- SAC - Ricky Machata PG 6'5'' 185 19 C B+ B C C A
With Oden on board, the Kings need a premier point guard at their helm. Machata should be just that and more. The Kings should get a good guy here no matter what.
3- BOS - Taven Whitehorse SG 6'4'' 195 19 B- B C C+ C-
Chicago is stocked at the swing positions and Machata is off the board in this scenario. Whitehorse should be nice in a fewTaven Whitehorse SG 6'4'' 195 19 B- B C C+ C- seasons but they need to make a move to make this pick worthwhile.
4- LV - Eduardo Bueno C 7'2'' 240 20 B- B C B B- B
Chicago is stocked at the swing positions and Machata is off the board in this scenario. Bueno is the center they need and should come in and play hard for them.
5- POR - Kareem Joffer PF 6'11'' 221 19 B D C C+ B- A
After last year's debacle with Frank McPherson, the Blazers should get a nice big in Joffer. Just don't call him a bust. He should be the real deal and provide some dearly needed inside help for Portland.
6- PHO - Alastair De Groot PF 7'1'' 230 20 B- C- C B+ C+ A
This might be sort of a reach for De Groot, but he should be a good fit in Phoenix. Moving DeGroot or Dennis Dunagan to center will create mismatches down low and should provide much needed rebounding for this team.
7- CLE - Jordan Metcalf C 6'8'' 310 20 B- D+ D- C+ A- A[
The Cavs really need a big (especially after trading Thabeet) and they get someone really big here. Metcalf should provide more of the inside prescence than they need and then sone.
8- UTA (From GS)- Action Jackson SF 6'7'' 205 21 B- C+ C B+ C B
The Jazz really need a big but won't reach for York or Bigelow here. Instead, they might go with the same pick in Jackson and hope that their prized SF doesn't go anywhere.
9- WAS - Deion Mashburn PF 6'8'' 236 22 B C C C+ C A
This just seems like a logical Jah choice. This is a high risk, big reward type. Most likely, Mashburn will be very good and will be another asset on the Wiz' roster.
10- LV (From PHI)- Marcus Bigelow PF 6'10'' 238 21 B C- C C A- B
With Mashburn off the board, Play makes another play for a big here. Bigelow should join a nice rotation of bigs for Chicago which should make them dangerous very, very soon.
11- LV (From IND) - Cesar Holmes SF 6'6'' 243 20 C+ C+ C B+ C A
With Chiacgo's last loterry pick, they may trade it or pick up a defensive guy like Holmes. Maybe never will be an offensive force, he will give you defense and tenacity. He should be a nice role player for Chicago at worst.
12- LAC - Rob York C 7'1'' 254 21 C D+ C- B B A
York seems to make the most sense for the Clips. They need a big and he should mesh perfectly with Tony Woods.
13- MEM (From SAS)- Darian Norris C 7'1'' 285 22 C+ D+ D- B C+ A
The Grizzlies need a lot of help especially with their backs behind the wall with the Contract Year looking. Front court help is key though, and Norris should be a good pick here.
