Strengths:
Kampmann is an absolute gunner and will probably be the best shooter in the history of the center position when all is said and done.
He shoots incredible percentages from the free throw line and three-point range and has dominated against his competition.
He also has great size and is starting to mix it up inside. He is expected to improve his inside game over time, especially with some RCs.
Kampmann also gained five pounds and grew an inch in the last year and is expected to grow another inch (he's 19, hint hint).
Kampmann has been pursued vigilantly by many Euroleague teams and it will be unknown until draft night if he decides to sign and for how long.
Weaknesses
Kampmann is very slow and cannot play a lick of defense.
He also has a lot of problems driving to the basket because he has a lack of ball control.
Kampmann's potential has been called to question because he dominated very poor opponents in a subpar German League. He didn't get a lot of minutes in World competition because of his age.
Outlook
Based on intrigue and perceived upside, he should be a top-5 pick this year - however, with his Euroleague status in question, some GMs may be impatient.
