Strengths:[/u]
Holmes is a freakish athlete. There's not an ounce of fat on this guy. He's all muscle, and he's got amazing strength, despite only weighing 225lbs. He's also very quick, which only adds to his versatility. He can go head-to-head with anyone in the league on the boards, he's one of the best rebounders to enter the league, and he's a Small Forward! He's a good passer, and an above average ball handler. His positional defense is decent, but his stealing ability is impressive. Scouts love his upside too, they think he's gonna be a very special player.
Weaknesses:[/u]
The dude can't score. In one season at UNLV, he never scored more then 16 points in a single game, and only went above 10 points in a game four times in thirty two games. Simply put, he's awful offensively. His defense also needs to be improved.
Overview:[/u]
Holmes is a very unique player with a very unique set of ratings. The potential seems to be there, so he could be a great complimentary player one day. Most scouts project him to go in the mid-lotto, between picks 8-11.
