Haha yeah but I never expected this. My Poli Sci teacher said yesterday that the school pretty much refuses to cancel any classes because some dick law school students once sued because of the closing. They wanted their money back for the days missed.

Public schools it is as easy as NC. Here it takes a shitload. They have only canceled class once when it was a white out and electricity went out. I dropped four floors on an elevator that day.

Not only did it snow here - a solid six inches - but it then turned to rain. It's been raining out for like three hours now. So, we have about six inches of snow with a solid layer of ice on top. Did I still have my 9:15 class? Of course!
I'm sitting in the fucking library waiting for my 11:45. Fuck.

My school hates safety. I should sue them. How far is your walk? One problem for us is that GW has two campuses. I live on the main campus and have most of my classes here, but one of my classes this semester is at the other campus. I need to take a bus there and I bet they didn't want to risk the nuts bus driver driving kids there. I still have to do it at 2:30 though, oh well. |
