Bill Cowher to be Featured in New Free-to-Play Online Football Game Quick Hit Football 2009 beta to begin in the next few months. By Chris Pereira, 01/29/2009 Quick Hit Football 2009
Fans of American football with a passion for fantasy sports will be excited to hear about the development of a new online football game that lets you manage and coach your team in real time. Quick Hit Football 2009 developer Play Hard Sports announced today that its name has been changed to Quick Hit, as well as the signing of former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Bill Cowher, as the voice and in-game analyst for the upcoming game. Having raised $13 million in funding in under nine months, Quick Hit believes having Cowher behind the game will offer a real sense of legitimacy -- something that other online football games lack.
Quick Hit Football is currently scheduled to launch alongside the 2009 NFL season, with a beta opening in the next few months. You can sign up for the beta now on the official site and also get a look at what to expect from the game. It looks pretty good visually -- certainly compared with other free-to-play online sports games -- and it seems like exactly the sort of thing NFL/fantasy nuts could sink quite a lot of time into.

So one of my questions was semi-answered(it's pretty crazy how quickly they responded)
My question was: Will we be able to set-up leagues where we can play in the league with just friends? Or will all leagues be randomized?
Answer: Good question! We're going to have ways in which either play with friends or find new people who happen to be online and are looking for a game - whichever you prefer.
