I typed this from my mobile phone.
Atlantic Division
Boston Celtics - LeBron James SF B+ A- B+ A- B+ C
Bron being Bron. At 33 he has not lost a step. The King has turned around the Celtics this year and is hoping to lead them to their first post season in 9 years.
Miami Heat - Ricky Rubio PG C+ A- A+ A C C
Miami has made many changes but decided to keep their best player in Rubio. The ball always goes through his hands and does everything the coach wants him to do. Score, rebound, pass, and defend. He is definitely the QB of the team.
New Jersey Nets - Azuolas Kanauskas SF B A C C+ C B
Azuolas has been on a scoring tear since the team went a different direction. He is now the go to guy and is proving to become a young stud for them. The future for him looks bright in New Jersey.
New York Knicks - Derrick Favors PF A- C- C- A A C
Since trading Rose, Derrick Favors is no doubt the Knicks best player. He is averaging 27 points, 12 boards, and above 2 blocks a game. A great replacement for Rose.
Orlando Magic - Dwight Howard C A- D+ D+ A+ A- C
Dwight being Dwight. Superman is just a monster and clearly the best player on Orlando. His numbers are just ridiculous right now...30/13/4blks.
Philadelphia 76ers - Dejuan Blair PF A- C- C A A C
They call him the BEAST. Blair is definitely the best player on Philly for many years now. He continues to put up great numbers across the line. MVP type numbers.
Washington Wizards - Josh Smith PF A- C C- A A- C
Since trading CP3, the Wizards found another player to get the ball to in J-Smooth. Ever since the trade to get him, Smith continues to put up 20 and 10 and 2 blocks a game. He is also shooting 50% from the field and 40% from 3 point land.
Central Division
Atlanta Hawks - Braden Issel SF A- B+ B- C+ C C
Although ATL isnt playing for anything right now, B-Izzy is doing what he wants on offense. He is already proving that he can be an elite scorer in this league. He is the best of the worst on the team.
New Orleans Hornets - Jamal Branch PG B- A- A- B+ C C
Just like ATL, the Hornets isn't playing for anything but a high lotto pick. Despite the losses, the Hornets have a sick young point guard in Branch who is performing well as of late and is clearly the teams best player. He is scoring, rebounding, passing, and defending. Pretty much doing everything for the rebuilding Hornets.
Chicago Bulls - Blake Griffin PF B+ C D+ B+ A- C
Griffin is putting up 20/10/2 blks a game and has shown that he is the best player for Chicago since they acquired him. He has been consistent throughout the season. Chicago will do everything they can to resign him in the offseason.
Cleveland Cavaliers - Jeremiah Gress SF A- B+ B+ B- C+ B
Toss up here between him and Cousins, but because of his scoring and passing, Gress is the best player the Cavs has right now. He is averaging 25/7/4asts. He is making his teammates better because of his passing ability which is another reason why he deserves being the MVP this year for Cleveland.
Detroit Pistons - Tyreke Evans PG B+ B A- A- C D
Evans is clearly the best player for Detriot. Not only he is scoring and rebounding, but he is also leading the league in assists. That statistic alone makes him the MVP on Detroit.
Indiana Pacers - Corey Fisher SG A- A- A- A- C+ C
Although Fisher has been struggling a bit since coming to Indiana, he still is the best player they have. If he can get back to form again, then Indiana could become more dangerous than they are at the moment. But there is no doubt Fisher will get back to form very soon, especially come playoff time.
Milwaukee Bucks - Duck Young Buck SF A- B+ C- B B- A
League leader in PPG on a Playoff team. That is all.
Toronto Raptors - Renardo Sidney PF B+ B B+ A A- B
Although his team is struggling, Sidney is clearly the MVP on Toronto. He is putting up 23/11/4/1.4/1.8blks...pretty much doing everything across the board. Just too bad he isn't getting enough help in wins.
I'll probably do the West edition tommorow or whenever. Zzzzz. Enjoy this for now.
