Pitt, since 2001, is currently 189-52. They have made the Big East Championship Game seven of the last eight times. They have made the NCAA tournament seven straight times, soon to be eight. They have been ranked in seven consecutive seasons now.
Also, Jamie Dixon will be the winningest coach ever after his first six years. Not in Big East History, not in Pitt history, but in history history.
One good season? STFU.

it doesn't matter what you do in the regular season.. all that matters is what you do in the Big Dance.. .come on now. Losing in the tourney doesn't erase everything else though. Most great coaches and great programs took a while before they won it all. It took Calhoun 13 years before he won one with UConn. It took Jim Boeheim 27 years before he won a title with Syracuse. |
