***I dont know the tie breakers. I just went alphabetical.***
1. Seattle (from Atlanta) - Rory Davis PF - Although Davis isn't a great defender or rebounder, his inside scoring skills and upside make him a safe pick at #1. Davis should be an elite post scorer and his defense and rebounding will be good enough.
2. Denver - Qussam Al-Jeddha PG - The Nuggets need big men more, but Bobby Hill is too much of a risk here. QAJ will be an elite PG with an amazing ability to create for others. Denver is loaded with young talent and should be a perennial contender within the next 3 years.
3. New Jersey (from Houston) - Shelley Cruise SG - The Nets have a very good young front line so they can risk taking a less then stellar defender in the back court. Cruise will be a prolific scorer for the Nets, and the combination of Cruise and Azuolas Kanauskas could be amazing.
4. New Orleans - Terrence Melling SG - Melling is rising on draft boards as the lotto approaches. An undersized shooting guard, Mellings desire to get better has been unreal in pre draft workouts. he Hornets need a franchise player, and many believe Melling is just that.
5. New Jersey - Renaldo McFaddden SG - the Nets take McFadden to offset the possibility that Cruise's defense will be too horrendous. McFadden should be a very good 2 way player and a great compliment to Kanauskas and Cruise.
6. Toronto - Derrick Thompson SG - Not a position of need for Toronto but they cant pass on Thompson. With Theo Finley's future looking uncertain the Raps take a player with a nice looking future in Thompson.
7. Atlanta (from Chicago) - Hakin Alexander PG - Alexander is a tiny play maker. A very good shooter and ball handler, Alexander should be a nice leader for the young Hawks franchise.
8. LA Clippers - Baek Hyun Moon C - Although Moon isnt a good defender, his offensive abilities and upside make him a great choice this low. the Clippers have an even more solid core now adding Moon to Jeremy Tyler, brandon Jennings and Avery Bradley.
9. Denver (from Portland) - Simon Ben-Ephraim C - The Nuggets need some big bodies to compliment their core of smaller players. Ephraim is the best available big man. He can score inside and rebound. He also should be an above average defender.
10. New York (from Cleveland) - Byron Hasty SF - Hasty is a very versatile player that can play 2 or 3. Hasty will fit right in beside Derrick Favors in the Knicks frontcourt.
11. Toronto (from Utah) - Bobby Hill PF - The Raps have enough talent to take a risk here, but scouts all across the league think Hill should fall out of the lotto. This from one scout, "Put all the personnel issues aside, and he still cant catch or pass the basketball. It raises some serious issues. If he was a perfect citizen I still wouldn't want him."
12. Phoenix - Jens Weissmuller SF - Weissmuller will be a super bench player for the up and coming Suns. Expect him to get minutes all over the place. A perfect role player for a young team.
13. Washington - Manny Williams SF - - A good shooter, ball handler an defender, Williams will get big minutes off the bench for the Wiz as a rookie.
