Overview
Well rounded and oozing with upside, Ibrahimbeg has been turning heads overseas for years.
Ibrahimbeg is the most raw International prospect that the league has feasted its eyes upon in quite sometime. "The Bosnian Baller" has turned heads since playing in U-14 tournaments and lighting up the competition. In last year's U-18 tournament, he averaged 13 ppg, 7 rpg, 5.6 apg, 1.1 spg, 1.1 bpg and 1.9 topg at small forward. He is a Jack of all Trades.
Ibrahimbeg can do a little bit of everything and is good in every area of the game. But the problem is that he does not excel anywhere and if his potential is not reached, he risks being a lifetime bench player in the pros.
Thus far, Ibrahimbeg has been on the bench for Fenerbace in Turkey and has put up modest numbers. He is simply not ready for high level Euroleague competition as of yet.
Strengths
Can do a little bit of everything. He moves the ball around, hits the occasional three-point shot, goes after boards and rarely turns the ball over. Some even think that he could be converted to a point guard one day.
He is absolutely as raw as they come and all of his former coaches have raved about his work ethic and will to improve.
He gets the occasional steal, but his athleticism is lacking, so blocked shots are something that he will rarely accomplish.
Talk to any international scout and they will sell you on his upside.
Weaknesses
Very unpolished and will take years to develop. Whoever drafts him will need to be patient.
Not a great athlete, simply an intelligent basketball player who works hard.
Will not shoot very good percentages early in his career and may be too slow to play PG or SG.
May be too timid to play in the pros, dominates younger competition, but has never shown much against older players.
Outlook
Definitely a lottery pick for someone who wants to take a risk.
