Yeah, it's a really solid pick-up for a conditional fifth round pick. The Pens are 6-1-1 in their last eight and have not lost since acquiring Chris Kunitz a few days ago (which was an even bigger and better trade).
The Pens couldn't afford to make another Marian Hossa type of splash so they bolstered their line-up with a cheap veteran leader like Guerin.
I wouldn't want to play the Pens in the playoffs at all. They are a new hockey team with the return of Gonchar, the addition of Kunitz, and the new system of a different coach. I hope they end up getting the Caps in the first round.
