Also, who do you think will win the Champs League this seaosn. I know you obviously want Madrid to win, but do you think they'll do it with their defensive frailties?

It hasn't even been a year yet.. let alone 6 months, let alone 3 months. Does our defense suck? Sure. There's still the Winter transfer season though and we have had a few injuries the biggest being Ronaldo's of course. The weakest link of the back line is the LB position which has been terrible ever since Roberto Carlos left. Pepe and Albiol are solid and we have Garay and Metzelder on the bench. Arbeloa is injured, and Ramos seems to be coming back to form. All we need is someone like a Maicon at the LB and we're set. I dunno, I honestly think Pepe and Albiol aren't the best of partnerships. I mean, I haven't seen them play together as much, but off the top of my head I don't think that's a good partnership. Pepe's great going forward, but defensively he's average (from what I know anyway). I think at both wing back positions you're already set, it's just your central defense that needs upgrading imo. Carlos was a monster... he's still playing though no? Fenerbache? Might be mistaken. Free kick against France in Le Tournoi 98 ROFL! Eh, Pepe rarely goes up Central backs normally do not go up in attacks it's usually or left and right backs and it's way to early in the season for this team to have chemistry. I mean this team is almost entirely new it's going to take at least another month or two for this team to really come together. Yeah he's playing in Fenerbache and they are saying he might come bcak to Madrid maybe even in the Winter transfer window. He was and is my favorite player of all time but all his shots were pure power and luck. He had no control on his shot whatsoever. For every goal he made he missed 20. |

It would be nice for Madrid to win since the final is in el Bernabeu but I think the most impressive team right now is Chelsea. I might be wrong but I think they are the only team not to lose any game in Europe. |

I dunno, I honestly think Pepe and Albiol aren't the best of partnerships. I mean, I haven't seen them play together as much, but off the top of my head I don't think that's a good partnership. Carlos and Cafu back then were godlike for Brazil and I love that set up that essentially gives you two extra wingers. |

Did anyone see that shit last night? What a fucking disgrace. I mean, Drogba's rant at the refs at the end of the Champions League was disgusting, but this was another level. Thierry Henry should be ashamed of himself. What a cunt.
Feel really sorry for the Irish team because they really didn't deserve that. What a classy goal they scored all round, great build up, great finish, and to go out to Henry's blatant handball is ridiculous. I work for a French Investment bank and all the French football fans here are ashamed too.
I hope Henry is booed for the rest of his career, and then spat at when he retires.
