This is why I think futbol should have replays for goals.
I think a replay for goals will not ruin the "integrity" of the game at all and will not slow down the pace whatsoever. I mean they took a good 2 or 3 minutes celebrating a goal, 2 or 3 minutes to see if a goal, was a goal, won't slow down the game at all.
I know all to well about being "robbed" the World Cup of 2002 should have been ours.

Mate everyone in the fucking universe apart from Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini want video technology and I don't see why not. They're in charge though, and they're French. The whole situation is a farce. There's already a 4th referee, why not give him a screen to watch it like we all do, and see what we all see at home? Then for big decisions like this he can overturn them. Of course you're not going to have to use video for every single decision, but if a referee sees a blatant misjustice like this, or say incorrectly given cards or goal-line incidents, then the 4th ref should step in. If we can all see it at home from the TV cameras that it's a blatant handball, how long does it take the 4th official to see it? 10 seconds of video footage Also, Platini and Blatter have said it'd cost too much money installing cameras right? What's wrong with what we use now for TV cameras? They show everything already, no need fo rnew shit. Their idea of employing extra referees at each goal-line is stupid. Sure, they would've (hopefully) caught the handball, ut what about for things that happen in the middle of the park which the main ref misses? It's stupid. FIFA need to fix their shit. |

They need to do two things before the next World cup 1)Replays on goals 2)Get referees only from the major leagues of the world i.e. Germany, England/UK, Spain, Italy, Brazil, France and Argentina all these referees that come from inferior league countries where the pace of the game is so much slower compared to the major leagues are terrible. When it was with Spain I think the ref was from fucking Morocco or something stupid like that. I think the ref in the France game was from Sweden. |

Yep agreed, but neither will happen. I don't know what the big deal is as to why they don't implement #1 anyway, it's stupid. Maradona's an ass too for his recent actions.
