Also we won today so that's good. I'm just pissed off I only made it home from work to see the last 8 minutes of the match since it was in fucking Russia so they had to start the match two hours early! GRRRRR! Having said that, I did catch the only goal in the match so I'm happy  Real up now 1-0 but I can't be arsed to watch any more of the match. Update me Marty lol. The first goal was a joke. Dida is a joke. |

They've got games in hand and I think if they had played the same amount of games as us they'd probably be up around 2nd or 3rd in the league and that's impressive for a newly thrown together team. I honestly didn't expect them to actually break the tip four at the beginning of the season, but then, I also didn't expect Liverpool to have lost twice as many games in like a month as they did in the whole season in the league last year... Lol. The Premier League is pretty open this year and it's great stuff to watch. We play Liverpool this weekend so it's a huge match. They might be missing Torres and Gerrard though, yet we might be missing Rooney. Either way whichever players are playing, should be a cracking match on Sunday. Can't wait. |

Of course of course, but at the end of the day it's still two fo the biggest teams squaring off against each other and it still has the same stakes. It should be a good match anyway, and I hope unexpected steps up to be the hero or something. It's games like these that are made for the John O'Sheas and Darren Fletchers of the world lol... although having said that I think Fletch is out too... Blah whatever. Can't wait for the match! |

There's still the Winter transfer season though and we have had a few injuries the biggest being Ronaldo's of course. The weakest link of the back line is the LB position which has been terrible ever since Roberto Carlos left. Pepe and Albiol are solid and we have Garay and Metzelder on the bench. Arbeloa is injured, and Ramos seems to be coming back to form. All we need is someone like a Maicon at the LB and we're set. |

I mean, I haven't seen them play together as much, but off the top of my head I don't think that's a good partnership. Pepe's great going forward, but defensively he's average (from what I know anyway). I think at both wing back positions you're already set, it's just your central defense that needs upgrading imo. Carlos was a monster... he's still playing though no? Fenerbache? Might be mistaken. Free kick against France in Le Tournoi 98 ROFL! |
