You can be empathetic while being sympathetic, but it didn't seem like Tiger was agreeing with marty's feelings, rather understanding where he was coming from while more agreeing with Spencer.

In the case of a hard drive failure for my company, if I say something like "Yes sir, you should be angry" or "You are right in being angry" it implies fault on our end whereas a hard drive will fail for numerous annoying reasons. So instead it must be "I understand your frustration..." or something like that so I don't get fired lol |

Hulk Hogan always eventually beat Andre the Giant, Iron Sheik, etc. Yeah but then how long did Hollywood Hogan hold the title in WCW? Sure Goldberg eventually took it off him, but Hogan was still Champ for ages and he was a heel there. Or look at Triple H. He was a heel for so long and was always the Champ... The Rock... even Austin as a heel... The best characters and biggest draws will be champs, regardless of face or heel. |
