Just watched Ace Ventua Pet Detective again yesterday, first time I've seen it for like 5 years. Humor has worn off a little but nevertheless,10 and out of bloody 10. An epic movie.

A few movies i've seen in the past few weeks.
Get Smart - 3
I've never been a big Steve Carrell fan but this role was perfect for him. It didn't try to be to be funny too often and had a descent story line. It was definitely entertaining.
Wanted- 2
I was really disappointed with this movie. I saw it the day it came out because I thought it looked like it would be at least a very good movie. I know a lot of people that thought the concept of bending a bullet was cool and they like the movie, but the movie didn't have nearly enough detail. One review said it was the best action movie since the Matrix. Had the movie been longer or split up into multiple movies (I do realize that it is based off one book) to make it more in depth it would have been great.
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford- 3
Not a great movie by any means, but seeing how things took up to the actual killing was interesting. Towards the end I just sat there with a sick feeling in my stomach waiting for the killing to take place. Anytime a movie can do that to me, I would recommend it for anyone else with a slight interest in the subject to watch. If the story line doesn't appeal to you then you will hate it.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid- 4
I hadn't ever seen it but had always heard about how good it was. It was on HBO or STARZ one day and I decided to watch. It definitely lived up the the hype. I am not a fan of Westerns at all, but with essentially two hours of Paul Newman and Robert Redford at their best makes this a great movie.

The Dark Knight- 3
Maybe watching the midnight showing on 4 hours of sleep was a bad idea but who knows. I found this movie a little disappointing because of all the hype I have been hearing this week. Heath Ledger was amazing. This was probably the best acting he ever did. The movie itself was a little dragged out imo and was going into too much detail towards the end, but it had a good story (some very predictable twists though). It is definitely worth going to see and should have great replay value.

And I wasn't really sober for the movie, so sometimes I was kinda just flying along with the plot, but I wanna see it sober and I think I will get into it even more. Ledger was so good, simply amazing.
