I really liked Dark Knight, but I wouldnt say it was in my top 10, or even 50 probably. It isnt a classic, IMO, but it is very good.
Aaron Eckhart was mediocre IMO/
Maggie Gyllenhall was also kinda mediocre.
Ledger and Bale were awesome, and I love Caine and Freeman.
It was an excellent movie, but there were some parts I really didnt like. Overall it was a movie you should see.

Also, I just think to be a classic type movie, everyone has to be spot on. A movie like Goodfellas to me is a classic. Everyone with major roles was awesome. DeNiro, Liotta, Pesci, even Lorraine Bracco and Paul Sorvino. Movie that makes you laugh, and makes you feel bad. It had everything.

I love movies.
Id recommend anyone read Clive Cussler. Hes such a talented story teller. It isnt a great work of art, but hes the closest Ive read to someone that just makes it sooo easy to read. Its seriously like watching TV reading him.

I love the "How am I not myself?" part. I just think its an offbeat weird comedy.

There are a lot of movies out there that I have yet to see and want to see but I think Ledger and Bales performances were awesome once again that made this movie amazing especially ledger. For Me Eckhart did a great job as dent/two face. I think casting him was a perfect fit. Dawes character did suck, really only bad performance I would say in the whole thing. I saw it for a second time tonight and I caught so much more the second time around that really made it a lot better for me. I am surprised you would not put this movie in your top 50.

Eckhart isn't badass enough to be twoface. I kept thinking of thankyou for smoking while seeing him. I also thought when his face burnt off he looked more like the Terminator than two face. I also agree with what Jordan said about many parts of the plot being predictable. I often guess the plot and I enjoy movies more when I don't know what to think. Ledger dead or alive this was an awesome performance from him. He was definitely way freaky and he was completely transcendent. When I saw him he was the joker not heath ledger. Dawes well Katie Holmes wouldn't have been any better just maybe a little easier on the eyes. Overall it was a really good movie, a little long and I love long movies, but this wasn't incredible. I found it interesting that we didn't see the joker actually being arrested at the end of the movie....perhaps leaving an opening to him returning but I doubt they do that now without Ledger. Sad very sad

Sad very sad Do you know what two-face face really looks like in the comic books. It is actually pretty similar to what it was in the dark knight. Actually done really well. I thought he was a perfect fit for the role. He is not suppose to be a bad ass killer.

I thought the two face looked terrible. I don't care if thats what it looked like the comic books. I think they could have came up with something a lot better.
The only thing I didn't see coming was The Joker switching up the addresses on Batman. There wasn't much time to think about it though. I hate figuring things out from early on in movies but some of it was too obvious imo.

That was pretty obvious, I mean didnt he say that only one would be saved, it seemed pretty likely that he knew Batman would go after Rachel and therefore the addresses were probably switched.

Ledger made the movie. It was an outstanding movie, and he's the primary reason why, The Joker is without a doubt one of my favorite movie characters ever now.
I thought Bale was very good, and I thought Eckhart was really good as Dent, but not so much as two-face.
I also wasn't a fan of Dawes in this movie, Gyllenhaal didn't do that good of a job IMO.

Gyllenhal sucked because she is not even close to being in Batman or Bruce Wayne's league

The movie set the record for biggest weekend opening ever, in addition to the biggest first day box office ever as well.

KInda sucks to lose an actress in a series like this. Not like Katie Holmes is all world, but at least shes hot. Gyllenhall is decent looking, but not hot.

Her look is underrated. Her brother's the man. Donnie Darko's the best movie ever.
