You'd have one more off season.... if you dont win 40/make playoffs you'd be in your contract year. ie. 2014 - 50-322015 - 23-59 2016 - 27-55 2017 - 27-59 2018 - contract year |

All i really know is that Don and Captain had 3 losing seasons but i guess Spence and DJ have talked it out so its all good.

It isnt complicated... the problem is new GMs always try to tank and dont bother trying to sign quality FAs to help them win games. Not superstar FA's but, good players that you can get for MLE or slightly more that will help you win. They end up not signing anyone and then after the 3rd off season they have nobody on their roster other than a couple of developing young players. Always is such a strong word. |
