I'm actually really excited about this season. I can't wait to see Greg Oden and company play, I haven't caught any pre-season games at all.

I love basketball but it sucks when your favorite team is a mess.

He had a great game but Kobe turned him around and stuck it right up his ass while playing the banjo.

He had a great game but Kobe turned him around and stuck it right up his ass while playing the banjo. You mean when he made Dwight Howard feel like he was 5'11? or his 22 points? Or the fact that that should have been a lot closer of a game had they actually officiated the game with FIBA rules, as all the previous games had been.

Yeah, just like in the Olympics, hence why everyone and their momma is already naming him ROY. Oden? Beasley? Oden is coming off an injury and playing in a stacked Western Conference for big men. Miami seems like a bad team and Beasley plays no defense.

I'm not saying they have no shot.. but Rudy is the most "ready" out of all the rookies to play right now.

If Oden puts together the type of season Horford had last year, he will have a pretty good shot.
I agree with you on Beasley, but alot of people are mentioning him as a frontrunner.

Congrats on the victory Jah. Sucks that I had so many guys not play last night (Lebron, Crawford, Bargnani, Haywood, Joe Johnson, Arenas), and 4 of them were in my starting lineup. I just couldn't get enough rebounds or blocks (and it turns out points which I thought I had locked up) last night to make up for those 4 empty spots in my starting lineup. Sucks that since it was a keeper league, I couldn't drop guys like Lebron or Arenas or Joe Johnson or Pau Gasol to try and get a full lineup worth of starters last night. Oh well, congrats. You absolutely killed me in the FG% and FT% categories as I never could get close to you the entire matchup.

Yeah it was very close. The last night was kind of crazy...I had folks like Jamison and Allen that decided not to play also. I must admit I was very happy Haywood didn't play since blocks was a very important category. I thought there was a good chance that we would end up tying!
