The Hard Cap
-The Hard Cap is $85,000,000. You cannot go over the Hard Cap. If you do go over, you have 24 hours to get under. If you do not get under, you must forfeit all picks in the next 2 drafts(which must include at least 2 1sts), and you will also lose a player to waivers. You will also lose your MLE and LLE, and all FA privileges (even Bird rights) over the next 2 years. If you do not have 2 1sts over the next 2 years, I will take 2 1st of my choice.

Does not say ACQUIRED picks. The way its written implies all picks owned.

All picks in the next 2 drafts. To me that implies any picks you have over the next 2 drafts. Because our HC penalty is continuous I think its written fine. You cant participate int he draft, or in FA for the 2 years following the HC penalty is imposed.

I think not being able to used acquired picks after the penalty is imposed should be up for change too.

Are you going to raise the HC cap at all to give teams some wiggle room?

I might allow a longer window to get under.
No need to raise the HC, it will only allow better teams to get better, when I want good teams to have to juggle players to stay elite.
2 of the 3 teams that went over weren't even good, it was just poor management. No need to change the rules for poor management.

I understand the want to raise the HC, but it isn't needed. Dan has been at about 84 mill for the last 10 years. Nanz has been at 84 since he came into the league. It can be done. Its hard to stay competitive, but it can be done. The league is very competitive right now, and I think the rules in place have a lot to do with it. There really isn't a need to change anything, except maybe the time limit. Like I said before, all 3 HC penalties would've been averted with more time.

So basically CF could trade for picks in the next 2 drafts, but have to trade them before the draft occurred?
