Hello my name isn't really Hansel, Church Boy, or Vladamir... I've been around BBS for the last 2 leagues. I've never won a championship here, but I have made the finals twice.

Mark and Haberman both told me to post, so give them an RC.
Might sound corny, but BBS definitely was a big part of my life for a few years. Like many, I checked morning, during school and at night. It got bad when Hernando, Krupinski, and AJ Negro were all in the league. I was surrounded by BBS at all times.
Just reading some of these posts, Dustin Hoyt was the biggest piece of shit. I tried getting KG from that guy so many times, but he wouldn't trade him. And no question, the best thing about BBS were those arguments that would go on for 20-30 pages. I'd get a call from Hernando or Krupinski telling me to go online, someone is talking shit about you or saying they're better, etc. I stayed out of them mostly (pretty much complete opposite in real life), but I definitely enjoyed reading them.
Absolutely miss it at times, but like so many others, some things just take over your life and you have to prioritize.
What I'm doing now - Still going to law school. Finishing up my first semester, second year (not studying like I should). Looking forward to this time off.
Pretty funny, as most of you know I'm doing this agent thing on the side. I've actually been in contact with two players who were absolute studs in BBS at some point (one was definitely on AJ's Nuggets team and another can't really recall, but might have been all bbs at one point). I was trying to trade for these guys only a few years ago, haha. And some of you ask me how I'm doing at times, it's going very well. Put six guys overseas and our level of clientelle is definitely going up this year. We're in talks with some border line NBA guys we might help, just have to see how things work out. We actually got one of those BBS guys a contract offer yesterday in Greece for 400k, but the ass turned it down, yuck. The coolest part about this thing though is seeing all the things no one really knows about. This business is so dirty and you have to align yourself with the right people or you don't stand a chance. It's funny knowing which players are going where because of the school they go to, AAU team they played on, etc. I can look at a draft list and tell you where the majority of guys will sign. And the stories about the players themselves, my god.
Either way, crazy to see this is still goin even after everyone quit. Love seeing Habes, Mark being smart asses and Spence running things very well. Hopefully it continues for another few years.

That is crazy. I'm still planning on law school. I might also join the paper here. I need to get myself in gear and start figuring some things out for the next few years. As of now I'm just kind of going through the motions in terms of classes and what not. I need to find a major!

and bbs is the main reason i did the sports things. i figure i was able to talk my way into some decent deals, and i'm sure gms in real life are no better than the kev, cc and haberman in his rookie year, haha.

Yeee. I just want to go to law school in the north east. Fordham would be sick, top-20. UConn is top-40, Rutgers/St.Johns are top-60. GW is top-20 too and they let their own undergrads in so that is nice.

We're getting a brand new building and should put us in the top 40, at least according to professors/dean.

Yup, that's on my list too. I made a list yesterday. IDK how many schools people apply to for law, but pretty much every school in the north east is on there for now. I'd happily go to UConn Law.

Cool, if you want to be my AGM (assuming you'll be active) I'd love to have you. I want to "teach" (not in a condescending way, just to help the transition).
