This is much ado about nothing. Conference strength is cyclical. no, it's not. Look at the East: 8 playoff teams, 2 teams that should be in the playoffs (pistons, raptors), 1 team that would be in the playoffs in the west (hornets), 1 team on the verge of being a sick team (magic), CY teams that are going to look strong (celtics, pacers) The West has rebuilding teams, but none have the core that will make them 55+ win teams except the Jazz. The NUGGETS are 44-19. The Sixers are clearly a better team IMO, and are the 7th seed in the East.

This is much ado about nothing. Conference strength is cyclical. Not in this case. Has the east always been better than the west in this version?

Has the east always been better than the west in this version? The Atlantic has always dominated but the central always kind of sucked. The West lost Dave/Pig, and the best replacements came in the East too (Jay).

I'd be all for a complete re-alignment of the divisions. Forget one guy here, one guy there. Target the guys like Outlawz who want to keep their team name and they stay put. Take the rest and move them about, with their rosters. It'd be a tremendous pain for Spence and none of this will happen, but it is worth talking about. it's not a big pain, i don't think. All he has to do is switch the teams conferences and city if the gm wants a change in city. I'd be fine bringing Atlanta to the West. 1 of Jah/Skillz 1 of mark/ebener/outlawz/maniac 1 of dj/jay for 1 of allstar/chris 1 of galo/blue 1 of scott/jb

To make the divisions more even as well as the conferences. But that won't happen. A couple of teams moving would be fine. I call being one LOL.

I'll go West! Haha but it is awesome having the great competition in the Atlantic. I do agree that a few changes could be made, and be beneficial to the whole league.

Move one GM over from the East to the West... preferably an Atlantic GM like Jah or Maniac. Move the Kings to the West. No need to over complicate things.

I have run the league the past few seasons, everyone needs to calm down. This type of thing happens in leagues. West will be back soon.

This type of thing always happens in leagues, At one point in BBS the west ran the league. Yeah because dave and pig actually cared about their teams, but also because the EAST was rebuilding there teams to what they are now.
The west at one point had great gms like Andy, Pig, Dave and A2J.
Now that a lot of those guys left a lot of these newer gms, andrew, ashes, jb, warriors, marty, are rebuilding there teams to make them their own.
It is only a matter of time till the west teams will have solid cores and be competing again. It just so happens that a lot of teams at one point are rebuilding which we have never seen before. Relax everybody, nobody should move.

Relax everybody, nobody should move. Wake up! Dave and Pig are gone, and the East has been so much better than the West for a long time. And it has everything to do with GM quality. Nobody but Andrew has a bright future, and there aren't many great GMs to put faith in at all.

I will agree that moving a gm could be beneficial to the league but moving a whole team is really bad idea imo. But the thing is, what gm will want to switch teams and move to the west?
