This type of thing always happens in leagues, At one point in BBS the west ran the league. Yeah because dave and pig actually cared about their teams, but also because the EAST was rebuilding there teams to what they are now. The west at one point had great gms like Andy, Pig, Dave and A2J. Now that a lot of those guys left a lot of these newer gms, andrew, ashes, jb, warriors, marty, are rebuilding there teams to make them their own. It is only a matter of time till the west teams will have solid cores and be competing again. It just so happens that a lot of teams at one point are rebuilding which we have never seen before. Relax everybody, nobody should move. Wake up! Dave and Pig are gone, and the East has been so much better than the West for a long time. And it has everything to do with GM quality. Nobody but Andrew has a bright future, and there aren't many great GMs to put faith in at all. There still is a solid core of gms out here. Andrew has a good core, Nanz has a sick team, Nuggets are good.Aar good gm. Phil is a good gm. Ashes is a good gm just has yet to prove himself. Three teams bring the league down and it is no offense to the gms, it is just the way it is. Rockets, Spurs and Kings. But they should not switch conferences, the east is better than the west. so what.

I will agree that moving a gm could be beneficial to the league but moving a whole team is really bad idea imo. But the thing is, what gm will want to switch teams and move to the west? why the hell would anyone switch teams? we'd simply change city's It is ridiculous to change the format of the league just because of an unbalance of power right now.

Dan, you named six teams, of which one is 44-19 with a team that would struggle to make the playoffs in the East, and two are rebuilding. What that means is that West is fucked and hopeless. What kind of conference can only claim six good GMs, and two competitive teams?

I think that's silly, too. I'd simply give, for instance, Skillz the Kings with the Hawks' roster, and vice versa.

I forgot to mention myself sorry. Marty is a good gm when he puts his mind to shit. so that is 8 good gms right there.
The rest are mediocre but solid enough to put winning teams out on the court. Right now it is just a bad year and everyone is freaking out.

Where did i say the west gms are better than the east? I said at one point the west was better, right now the east is better. And the east has a better set of gms, what can you do? A lot of gms quit and now we have a new set of guys who are trying to find their place.
I know you guys have a better set of gms, I am not arguing who has better quality gms, I am saying we should not freak out just because of this difference. It has happens all the times in the leagues.
Give some people a chance.

It has happens all the times in the leagues. Give some people a chance. My opinion is that the West has always been a little worse in terms of GMs, and have been hit hard by 1) some of the best West GMs leaving and 2) the better replacement GMs going in the East. In general, yeah, one conference's dominance over another could be cyclical. But in this case, do you really see that happening? You really have faith that so many of us in the East will just start sucking one day? I think it is a different scenario than the normal cyclical nature (one I don't entirely agree with anyway) than is seen in sims.

Having Skillz come over to the west and scott going to the east will not do anything.
What has to happen is we need to replace some of these cellar dweller gms and get some guys who can put winning teams out on the floor. Right now, that cannot happen because the gm quality on the waiting list is just not that good. So we have to leave things as they are. I do not like moving so many teams and switching their locations up, but I am not the commish. I just hate the idea.

There is zero balance whatsoever and it is awful. We're going to wait and hope some stud GM magically appears on the waiting list? What you want is to replace the cellar GM. What we want is to replace the cellar GM. It is the same thing. You recognize the problem.

You pretty much always beat me, with the exception of last year where I went 3-1 INCLUDING the clutch Day 120 win to tie me/you/Maniac up at 55 wins and give me the 3 seed. yeee!
