What are the 3 most important parts of a sim league?
I think the top 3 things I like are....
-Consistent sims. I love knowing a sim will be up at a certain time.
-Good rules. I like rules that make sense, and a commish that follows precedent.
-Good bantar. Not as important as the other ones, but I like to actually enjoy the guys in the league.
Tell me.

Ya, he just wanted Chris to get fired. Martinez is annoying, but he deserves a shot to run a team again without getting fucked with.

I'd love Dave to get back into the league because we need West GMs, but Martinez doesn't need to get fucked with anymore. LOL @ Martinez running Dallas btw.

I really like the core of Dallas, and their position. I think Chris can do well there if hes patient.

Henry/Kelly is a nice start, but it's not a great core. But Dave should come back as a team like Sacramento (not sure how long Scott's going to be able to keep up) or Memphis (JB has made some really iffy trades)

I dont think he has legit interest. I just think he doesnt like Chris having "his team".

Lame. To answer your questions, the three most important things for me:
- My friends in the league. IDK how long I could last if they weren't in the league.
- Liking the other GMs.
- Activity

4) Consistent sim time. That's incredible.

It's all about the commish to make the league actually get going. Gotta be consistent and frequent, at that. Then it's the core of GMs--active and interesting. Obviously it's huge for me that my friends are here. I love BBS and GMing my team but it's not a coincidence that the only two leagues I'm in are the one with my friends in them.

-Quality of drafts. (If your drafts suck, the league will too.)
-Quality of GMs (Good GM's make a league so much better. I hate top heavy leagues with teams that just get raped to make the rich, richer)
-Consistent sims (checking every day or every other day and knowing there is a sim is up is great).

His activity was so inconsistent.

It's so much better for me. My interest dies at random times even if my activity doesn't and having my friends in the league keeps me going. As I said to Nanz yesterday, I legitimately couldn't ever give up BBS until they did because it's such an amazing tool to communicate through. I probably PM 20 times minimum a day talking nonsense. If they were in the league and I wasn't it wouldn't work well with me.

I saw them every day or talked online. Now I don't really go online and see my friends rarely so it's sick to have BBS to keep things normal. When I quit BBS March of senior year I truly did not think about it for 4-5 months. When we were about to go to college I realized how important it is for keeping things normal.

1) Consistency - Like you said, I love being able to wake up and knowing there will be a sim at a specific time. I've grown kinda tired of UOSL, not because it isn't fun anymore, but because I'm always guessing when the sim is. Not that I don't like Ashes as a person, he is just a very inconsistent simmer.
2) Activity - It just wouldn't be the same BBS without there being like 5 or 10 random threads about nothing every day. This is the place where guys can go to talk about the two best things in the world: sports and titties.
3) GMs - This crop of GMs is fantastic. I admit that I am friends with a few of them, but even the ones I have never met are pretty cool. I even have to say that it wouldn't be the same without Martinez. Or even YB...wait, scratch that one.
