If you have 3 losing sims in a row you must make changes in your DC. This way are you at least attempting to win. Whether its change your tempo, press, trap, focus, SL, and/or options at least you are trying to make change instead if sticking to the same failing lineup. Also this promotes activity so teams just can't sit on their bad teams and decide to participate in the league come off season.
1st time = Warning 2nd time = Loss of 2nd Round Pick 3rd time = Loss of following years 1st round pick(if we were entering 2002 draft you would lose your 2003 or next available first not in the current year)
How about it?

So why didn’t you come up with this before you started tanking?

I think it is total overkill honestly.

I think it is total overkill honestly. Agreed. The Contract Rule basically takes care of the worrying about consistent tanking IMO.

I think it is total overkill honestly. Agreed. The Contract Rule basically takes care of the worrying about consistent tanking IMO. Don't we strive for realism? Does a team who is losing over the course of a season not make 1 adjustment all season long like for instance your team? I don't mean to single you out because there are others as well like Minnesota who is actually an 8th seed with a losing record but he should make changes as well. This prevents teams from just finding a DC that helps them lose(like DJ has done so many times) and tries to ensure that they are trying to make changes in order to succeed. Now to get back to you Nova I'm sure even if you made changes to your DC it wouldn't make too much of a difference you'd still suck. All this does is help promote competitive balance and league activity. Perhaps you don't agree with the consequences as they may seem harsh but suggest something else.

Last time I checked i didnt complain about any rules I don't agree with it yes as I think the long term potential of this idea is bad for the league. I'm going to greatly benefit from it with all the young talent I will be acquiring on my roster in the next few upcoming seasons but yet I still oppose it.

Because you did this in last BBS and just sat on your team and didn't make changes You're ridiculous. Just shut up and stop stirring shit to get on everyone's nerves. You're sucking it up this year, and whining about issues that DON'T EXIST. I don't know how anyone can stand you with this crap. I didn't ever just sit on my team in BBS. I had a rebuild season where I didn't do much to my DC, and won 48 the next year. Big fucking deal. Stop being a baby, you're like 23.

Eh. I like the fact that i can sit on my team and just put it on cruise control. My activity as far as posting will definitely go down but im too busy to be worried about "omg its the third losing must make change or i lose a first." Main reason im rebuilding is because i can't be active so this would just make shit more complicated and mainly just annoying. I think we have enough things in place to prevent blatant tanking.

Outlawz, didn't you and Aaron make a bet where you need to win 50 next year or you quit? What ever happened with that argument, did that become an official bet?

Yeah, i dont know what happened. He said 50 wins and i said get into the playoffs. I put it out there but i dont think it ever became official. I wanted him and Martinez to be in it. Only way it would be worth it for me.

I'm not saying my consequences are the end all be all but perhaps we can develop something off of this idea I have. I do think people become inactive and just want their teams continue to lose. If you look at the DC thread there are quite a few number of teams who haven't made changes at all and generally those teams all have losing records. There is a direct correlation between the two.

I couldn't win because my roster sucked. You're talking about nonsense.

Do you think its right for a team to make 1 DC or a DC until they start losing and keep it? If you don't what can we do to change it?

This is a terrible idea, Dave. You're taking a rule that is already in place to far. You're whole obsession with tanking is pathetic in my opinion.
I think the leagues view that losing in order to build a winner is stupid to.
Leave it as it is. A GM will be fired in 2 years anyway, let it happen that way. You can tell who the bad GM's are anyway without checking their record over a 3 week span over 120 days... Also, this rule would be impossible to enforce.
