Moving teams is fine.
Moving teams to different conferences because some GMs have the GMing capacity that I allegedly possess is not.
Hire better GMs. That's the answer. JBJFJK is extremely active, but I have no idea what he's doing half the time. That team hasn't had a decent player on it in a while.

I could see maybe changing the Grizz to the East and changing their name. I think deciding who would go West to become the Grizz would be tough. Im guessing 5-7 teams would want the chance to be out West.

It also sucks that a team like Golden State with Pig, which I see as being an elite team is horrible.

I would never wanna leave the East. Shit gets intense I think a handful of guys wont want to leave, but I think a handful would. How would we decide who moves? I mean it seems like moving Memphis to the East and Atlanta to the West would work.

I like the competition, but being a good-but not great team can get frustrating in the east

Memphis moves out East and becomes the Atlanta Hawks. Atlanta moves out West and becomes the Memphis Grizzlies. This would mean JB would be fired next year. No way he makes the CY out East.

I think this is a problem just right now for a couple reasons:
1- Dan and Nanz are both rebuilding but both will have good teams in 2 seasons or less 2- Dave left the Mavs which was a big blow because they dominated the West and most of the East for some time 3- A lot of West GMs have been changed (MIN, DAL, MEM, GS for a while, and you could even argue SAC hasnt had a real GM for a while) so that's what kinda displaces the competition between the conferences
If you can get stronger showings for MEM and GS, I think the problem will solve itself because the West will start to emerge again.

I dont think the problem is that big. But I think the scenario I suggested will quiet the subject for awhile, which would be nice.

The Western teams that are in a bad position long term are Golden Sate, Sacramento, Memphis, maybe Houston and San Antonio. Everyone else seems to be okay, but the talent level isn't close to the East

Everyone else seems to be okay, but the talent level isn't close to the East Memphis, Sacramento and Golden State are in bad shape. Sacramento might be in the best shape of the 3, which is sad. SA isnt that bad off. he has his picks and some young talent. He just needs to stop sitting on it and do a 3 for 1 trade that gets him a more elite player.

There really hasnt been though. Andy - Andrew has been decent. Dave leaving hurt, but Dallas is in great shape IMO. Chris kinda fucked up Memphis before he got fired. Ill probably end up there. Ashes is an upgrade in MIN. Other then that, the GMs are original out West.
