I think this is a problem just right now for a couple reasons: 1- Dan and Nanz are both rebuilding but both will have good teams in 2 seasons or less 2- Dave left the Mavs which was a big blow because they dominated the West and most of the East for some time 3- A lot of West GMs have been changed (MIN, MEM, GS for a while, and you could even argue SAC hasnt had a real GM for a while) so that's what kinda displaces the competition between the conferences If you can get stronger showings for MEM and GS, I think the problem will solve itself because the West will start to emerge again. I dont think the problem is that big. But I think the scenario I suggested will quiet the subject for awhile, which would be nice. I don't think the problem is that big either. With Dan and Nanz on the rise expect things to get better. The bottom of the West is really what makes it stand out to me. Even the Celts last year who won 33 I believe had great players like Okafor, Roy, etc. That kind of team would have won 40 in the West.

There really hasnt been though. Andy - Andrew has been decent. Dave leaving hurt, but Dallas is in great shape IMO. Chris kinda fucked up Memphis before he got fired. Ill probably end up there. Ashes is an upgrade in MIN. Other then that, the GMs are original out West. whatabout moving IND to West and MEM to East. IND is closer to the Western region anyway. I would change team names. The team going out West would become the team leaving to go out East.

I have pretty much given a scenario that would fix the supposed problem and no one seems to like it. Funny.

When no one wants any of my players there is nothing I can do about it. Ya, I think you got old fast. But you also dont have any picks which makes it hard. Youll turn it around, but its a tough time right now. It is very frustrating and it really turns me off from the league. Im figuring out the hard way that I am the only GM that will overpay for strong vets 30+ which is somewhat surprising because when I establish this strategy I obtain 50+ wins near 100 percent of the time. If there are 3-4 GM's who think the same as me I am a less difficult position then I am in now.

The Western teams that are in a bad position long term are Golden Sate, Sacramento, Memphis, maybe Houston and San Antonio. Everyone else seems to be okay, but the talent level isn't close to the East Memphis, Sacramento and Golden State are in bad shape. Sacramento might be in the best shape of the 3, which is sad. SA isnt that bad off. he has his picks and some young talent. He just needs to stop sitting on it and do a 3 for 1 trade that gets him a more elite player. Memphis is in bad shape talent wise and not having their pick the next few drafts. They have caproom J.Anderson J.Choi B.Harmon as young pieces This team really hasnt had a good TC ever. Best thing to save us till we get our picks back is Free agency and thats been like pulling teeth. I think we should get rid of one year 12 mil type deals an force gms to either resign good players longterm deals or let players go. Good teams get these guys on there bench that can start on other teams. They end up retaining em with no cap risk and then drop em when they get old. The next season they still have their caproom to use.

Galo I have always been the GS GM. You left for a week or so and came as the Mongler. You've been pretty bored with the team too so it's like you weren't there.

Haha, Galo all the deals that were made by Spence when I was gone were made by me. I was still the GM of the team. I thought this point was made.

When your team is bad you need t make more moves. Thats when your MLE is important. Thats when signing the right amount of expiring is important. I mean you really have to be constantly looking to be better.

Spence is really coming down hard on JB. I hope being in BBS makes him a better sim league GM. I dont have ill will towards him, I think he has potential. The effort is there, hes just been in crap sims before and he thought he could make moves and recover. Here you really cant. You really need to be even or win most trades to be good here long term.
